Conn Selmer Institute (CSI) is a three-and-a-half day professional development conference for college students, directors, and music program leaders. Our world-class faculty leads a curriculum with specialized tracks focusing on college students, new music educators, middle school directors, high school directors including marching arts, and music administrators. We love the traditions and personal connections made in-person at Bethel University and are thrilled with the success of the virtual option to attend as well - the best of both worlds!
CSI is located on the beautiful campus of Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana. Experience being live in the classroom with our amazing faculty, go on factory tours, enjoy live concerts, and all meals are included!
All sessions are live-streamed and available for replay after the event. Whether you attend virtually, or in person, our faculty directly connects with all attendees giving everyone the same world-class curriculum! This is not just another Zoom!
Whether you join us in person or online, Conn Selmer Institute connects you personally with peers and faculty and equips you with practical skills and relevant strategies that address current trends in music education.
The curriculum includes inspiring workshops led by world-class clinicians. Tracks are assigned by event staff based on information given at registration, but ALL session replays are available for an additional 90 days post-event. This is one conference where you really can see it all!
We are delighted to collaborate once again this year with VanderCook College of Music. You will find "Conn Selmer Institute: A Retrospective" offered as a part of the VanderCook summer continuing education courses for 1 or 2 graduate credits.
As always, our faculty is a who's who of the world-class clinicians you've come to expect. You will recognize familiar faces, as well as some clinicians who are joining us at Conn Selmer Institute for the first time. Learn more about all the faculty, and our keynote speaker, Alvin Law.
Conn-Selmer Institute has lined up wonderful performances to be enjoyed by all attendees.
