Biography & Career
Mark Stepro is a Los Angeles-based musician originally from Galion, Ohio. He has performed on every continent except Antarctica and has appeared multiple times on The Late Show With David Letterman, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Craig Ferguson, and Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CBS This Morning, Good Morning America and The Late Show With James Corden.
He is currently touring with The Wallflowers after recording their most recent release, “Exit Wounds.” The band has U.S. tour dates scheduled throughout the fall.
Since 2010, Mark has been working with Butch Walker both in Walker’s capacities as a solo artist and as a record producer, recording with Train, Panic! At The Disco, Jewel, Keith Urban, Gavin Degraw, Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, and Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty.
Additionally, he has performed or recorded with Leon Bridges (including a European slot opening for The Rolling Stones), Shooter Jennings, Hayes Carll, Dan Wilson, Brett Dennen, Ben Kweller, Jackson Browne, Andrew McMahon, The Old 97s, Courtney Love, Corb Lund, Spanish guitar hero Diego "El Twanguero" Garcia, Sara and Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek, Morgan Kibby of M83, Sara Bareilles, Jakob Dylan, Mike Viola, Joe Pug, Robert Ellis, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Adam Levy, and Tim Easton. A passionate student, he has studied with teachers Ed Soph, Steve Houghton and Glenn Kotche of Wilco.
