Biography & Career
Konstantin was born on January 21, 1984 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. At the age of 19 Konstantin got very passionate about music and started learning to play drums. At that time he was experimenting in different musical bands and groups of Yekaterinburg.
In 2009 Konstantin began studies at Sverdlovsk P.I. Tchaikovsky Musical College under the
conduct of Yury Bobrushkin. In 2013, when his study was over, Konstantin dedicated all his
time to the improvement of his playing skills in various styles.
Today, when he isn’t on tours and isn’t loaded with studio work, Konstantin gives private
lessons at music studios of Yekaterinburg.
The main music group for Konstantin is “Around The World In 80 Days” post-rock project. In
2010, being already known in Yekaterinburg, the group made a tour in Germany. The gained
positive feedback allowed “Around The World In 80 Days” to share the stage with “God Is An
Astronaut”, “The Moving Mountains”, “65 Days of Statistics”, “Maybeshewill” and other
well-known post-rock bands.
In 2012 “Around The World in 80 Days” visited Ukraine. In 2015 they made several tours in
PRC, Singapore, Malaysia. Today Konstantin and the group are working on a new album
and preparing for the tour in Russia to support the upcoming new release.
